Pendo Karate is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 2nd Gala benefiting Luke’s Helping Hand to fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This serious disease has hit very close to our hearts. Our student Luke and his family have been affected by DMD. Pendo Fights For is committed to help in any way we can.
The Luke’s Helping Hand Foundation has been created by Luke’s family to raise money and awareness to help fund research toward this disease. DMD Research and treatment is very expensive, limited and exhausting. Currently, there are no FDA approved treatments for DMD. As a community, we are helping Luke, his family, and others.
