The Great Kindness Challenge is the week of January 27th and is dedicated to creating a culture of kindness in communities nationwide. Pendo Karate is proudly participating in this proactive, positive bullying prevention initiative.
This week, classes will be receiving a checklist of kind acts. We encourage your child to complete the checklist throughout the week to show the world that kindness matters. And to show how king Pendo students can be, the following week, we will reflect on our experiences and display the completed checklists.
As a part of the Great Kindness Challenge, our unifying service project will be collecting children’s art supplies for 180 Turning Lives Around’s Amanda’s Easel Program. This is a great opportunity for our students to respond to the needs of others, which teaches empathy and compassion. We are collecting art supplies from January 27 to February 14.
